Englobo & Rural Land Parcels

In recent years, the Corporation has been identifying, preparing and selling englobo residential, industrial and commercial land parcels to private land developers. These englobo parcels are essentially ready for subdivision and development.

Six parcels of englobo residential land comprising 53 ha were sold to private developers in 2006-07. The englobo sales included land at Hamilton Valley (Lavington), Mitchell Park (Thurgoona), Country Club and Wattle Glen (Wodonga).

Englobo residential sales targeted for 2007-08 include land in the following areas: Lavington (Lyne Street and Prune Street), Leneva (Streets Road), Thurgoona (Mitchell Park) and Wodonga (Whenby Grange and Coyles Road).

Englobo industrial/commercial site sales targeted for sale in 2007-08 include land at Ettamogah (Kenilworth).
